Media personality Reyne Hirsch, with expertise in 20th Century Decorative Arts, is called upon to appraise collectibles ranging from antique watches to $20 million dollar paintings. Her appraising skills are also in high demand by investment firms, high-end estates and charity auctions.
As a contributor to The Huffington Post & BuzzFeed, Reyne blogged about celebrity events, their collections, and other Hollywood highlights. She was the host and co-producer of The Art of Collecting, a weekly program on KPRC, Houston’s NBC station spotlighting trends and news in the world of fine art, antiques, and collecting. She has also been a repeat guest on CBS’ The Early Show and also on Martha Stewart Living Radio. Reyne rose to popularity as an on-air talent for 13 seasons on PBS’ Emmy-nominated series, Antiques Roadshow She founded Reyne Gallery which specialized in 20th Century Decorative Arts, Wristwatches, and Collectible Cars.
Reyne has written for – or been interviewed by – publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, BusinessWeek, Home & Garden, Hemisphere Magazine, Worth Magazine, TV Guide, Family Circle Magazine, Time Out New York, Traditional Home, Romantic Home, Inspire Magazine and Collectors Weekly. She has also contributed to books including “Antiques Roadshow Collectibles” by Carol Prisant and “Adventures at the Auction” by Leslie Hindman. She wrote “The Art of Glass” for the Dayton Art Museum, along with penning the introduction to “Warman’s Companion on Watches”. Additionally, she provided the chapter on investing in Tiffany for an edition of “Warman’s Antiques and Collectibles.” She has also penned two more books on collecting wristwatches for Krause, a leading collectibles publisher.
